Match-fixing in sport: A mapping of criminal law provisions in 27 EU member states



The European Commission entrusted KEA European Affairs with the study on thelegal framework applicable to sporting fraud, notably match-fixing in the EU member states. 

KEA is a Brussels-based consultancy specialised in culture, creativity, media and sports. 

KEA studied how match-fixing is covered in the national criminal laws of the member states of the EU. Aim of the study is to enable the European Commission to assess whether intervention is required, and if so, at what level and in what form.
